This was hands down the worst meal I’ve ever had. My husband and our 2 guests agree. It went downhill fast when our friend asked for some lemon for her water. We were told “lemon is not local so we do not have it on the menu”. I mean, it’s a lemon, people. Meanwhile, where was the shrimp in our meal from-the local Brandywine River? And how about all the European wines? A tad hypocritical. The service was snooty and overdone, with multiple people constantly whipping away our unfinished plates and glasses without asking if we were finished. The food itself was practically inedible. The last course, we all hoped would at least be decent- an olive oil cake. It was the most strange and awful thing. Who messes up a cake??? We left $550 later feeling like we all had been Punk’d. Ambiance though is attractive- don’t let it fool you.

Our fifth time back. My wife and I where one of their original customers. Over the years as Andiario's popularity grew it became harder to secure a reservation. We kept trying for we never left disappointed, until last evening. As they've transitioned to a fixed menu the main course was a chicken thigh. My wife hates chicken; however, we assumed the supporting salad, pasta always a big hit, desert would more than cover the chicken. "Wrong". I would consider myself an above average cook, and never flinch at cost if I'm knocked out of the park. Potato really not sure what it was. Boiled and pan seared? Chicken, I've done sheet pan Mediterranean with sweet paprika, cumin and allspice that is incredible, not what we where served. Then desert, well lets just say there is a good ice-cream counter down the street. Very sad

Dining at Andiario is a different experience for sure, don't expect a quick rushed meal. For being as exclusive and prestigious as they are, they certainly make you feel welcome! Best dining in the greater Philadelphia area.

Delightful and creative—a beautiful culinary dance! This restaurant is an exceptional experience and one of the best meals we have ever had. We keep coming back to taste the chef’s creations. Brilliant wine pairings, too!
